The important collection of devotional icons comprises some 30,000 images. They originate from the collection of Priest Veichtlbauer. Selected examples are on display, and you’ll find these in the drawers of the middle cabinet. They include
hand-painted devotional icons,
engravings by engravers from Augsburg and Nuremberg,
hand-made lace images from the 18th century and industrially produced goods from the 19th and 20th centuries.
There are also depictions of pilgrimages and saints.
